This year, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception falls on Monday, December 9, and is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation this year. The weekend follows the usual schedule.

Masses for the Solemn Feast and Season of Christmas are as follows:

The Solemn Feast of the Nativity (Christmas)

  • Tuesday, Dec. 24:
    • 5 pm Vigil “Family” Mass;
    • 12 am “Shepherds’ Mass” at Midnight (Carols and organ begin at 11:15 pm).
  • Wednesday, Dec. 25
    • No 7 am Mass 
    • 10:15 am Mass of Christmas Morning
    • 12 pm Spanish Mass

Masses in the Octave of Christmas

  • No Mass Dec. 26; church offices closed.
  • Dec. 27-31: Masses of the Day are offered at 9 am. The rectory is closed for the duration of the Octave of Christmas.
  • January 1 (The Feast of Mary, the Mother of God) is a Holy Day of Obligation this year.

Porchfest and Corpus Christi have come and gone, and school is out! Greens in the garden have grown full and our sour cherries are ripening!

As of June 18, daily Mass will now be offered at 8 am until after Labor Day. Daily Mass on Saturdays will continue at 9 am.

Summer Hours

Happy Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle!

With school out of session, daily Masses have been moved to 8 am. Saturdays’ Mass of the Day and the perpetual novena remain at 9 am. The church will remain open until 4 pm. 

Upcoming special dates when this schedule changes:

  • Fourth of July: Daily Mass at 9 am.
  • Feast of the Assumption (August 15): 9 am (Simple) & 7 pm (Solemn)
  • Labor Day (September 4): 9 am.

  • 7 pm: The Choir presents Tenebrae, a Solemn Choral Meditation on Holy Week.

Holy Thursday

  • 9 am: Church open for prayer.
  • 7 pm: The Mass of the Lord’s Last Supper, with the Rite of Washing of the Feet. No other Masses are offered that day. Following the repose of the Most Blessed Sacrament in the Easter Repository, the church will remain open for private adoration and prayer.
  • 11 pm: Church closes.

Good Friday

  • 8 am: Upper Church is open for prayer.
  • 9 am: Lauds (Morning Prayer) will be said in lieu of Daily Mass.
  • 3 pm: Good Friday Stations of the Cross
  • 7 pm: Veneration of the Holy Cross and Distribution of Holy Communion

No Masses are offered on Good Friday.

Holy Saturday

  • 10 am: Easter Volunteer Cleanup.
  • 7:30 pm: The Most Solemn Vigil of Easter.

Easter Sunday

  • Regular Mass schedule. With the many visitors in attendance, please arrive early to ensure you have a seat for Mass.

Easter Monday

  • 9 am: Daily Mass in the Octave of Easter. The rectory is closed for the day.
