Christmas Schedule & Christmastide

December 24: Christmas Eve

  • 9 am: Mass of the Day
  • 5 pm: Vigil Mass for Children and Families. There will be no confessions heard on Christmas Eve.
  • 7 pm: Solemn Vigil Mass of the Nativity of the Lord (Vietnamese, Upper Church)
  • 9 pm: Solemn Vigil Mass of the Nativity of the Lord (Spanish, Upper Church)
  • 12 am Solemn Vigil Mass of the Nativity of the Lord. Carol service starts at 11 pm.

December 25: Christmas Day

  • 8:30 am in Vietnamese
  • 10:15 am in English
  • 12 noon in Spanish

There is no 7 am Mass on Christmas Day. 

The Octave of Christmas (December 26-31)

  • Daily Mass will be offered at 9 am instead of the usual 7 am.

Please note: the 9 am Mass on December 31 does not abrogate attending for the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God on January 1.

January 1: Mary, the Mother of God

A holy day of obligation.

  • We return to our usual Saturday/Sunday Mass schedule.

*Please check back for our schedules for the celebration of the feast of our patron, St. Francis de Sales, on January 24, and the Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas) on February 2.

mary-statueDecember 8 is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary and a holy day of obligation. It’s also the patronal feast day of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so if you see a Mac, wish her a happy feast day.

Join us for Mass as we celebrate God’s great mercy and honor our mother Mary and her most Immaculate Conception:

  • 7 am: Mass without music (per usual daily schedule).
  • 7 pm: Mass with cantor.
